T3 is a thyroid hormone drug commonly used for fat loss, particularly in the context of anabolic steroid cycles. T3 is naturally produced in the body as a result of the production of T4 by the thyroid gland. Oral administration of T3 may result in higher serum T3 concentrations than naturally occurring, allowing for faster fat loss and in some cases greater GH production and anabolism. Most often used in preparation for a competition, it allows you to significantly reduce the amount of fat stores. It is also used in the mass cycle, as the use of this measure allows bodybuilders to increase caloric supply and break stagnation. It is also used for standard reduction and cutting. It is quite popular to combine it with clenbuterol, then fat burning is extremely fast. The use of Cytomel in conjunction with anabolic steroids increases the anabolic properties of steroids. This is due to the increased utilization of proteins in the body, which in turn contributes to the increase in the synthesis of contractile skeletal muscle proteins.

There are two ways of dosing T3 that can be recommended.
The first goal is to achieve fat loss or maintain an ideal body composition. In this system, the dosage of T3 is very low, ranging from 12.5 mcg per day to 25 mcg per day. At a low dose, thyroid tests showed no cessation of natural T3 secretion even with prolonged use. At the higher dose of 25 mcg, thyroid tests showed a slightly reduced secretion of natural T3, but the results are much better. During low doses, even if this compromises the secretion of the natural hormone, the thyroid gland quickly begins to produce T3 after discontinuation.
In the second system of biting, the goal is to achieve a fairly significant increase in body temperature, which causes quite a lot of fat burning by inducing thyroid suppression. The most preferred dose is about 50 mcg / day, however, in some cases a dose of 75-100 mcg / day may be used. Even higher doses than 100 mcg give no noticeable difference. Such an application is only advantageous for a certain period of time. About 8-12 weeks or so, although there is no specific date set. It should be remembered that you do not jump to the target dose immediately, but increase it starting with 1 tablet for several days and increasing every 25mcg until it reaches the maximum. After prolonged use of T3 at a suppressive dose, natural production is suppressed for some time after T3 use is discontinued. Usually, the time it takes for the thyroid to fully recover seems to be related to the duration of use. In the case of short-term use, this period is not longer than the duration of the cycle. It happens that bodybuilders take thyroid hormone for years and in that case it would be advisable to do the results every 2-4 weeks to check that everything is ok.
In the medical literature “Recovery of pituitary thyrotropic function after withdrawal of prolonged thyroid-suppression therapy”, examples of how difficult it is to restore normal thyroid function after taking the hormone for a long period are shown. In a study there, not all patients regained their normal thyroid production, and the same may happen with long-term use of T3 for bodybuilding. However, after the end of the tests, all subjects regained normal thyroid function, but their levels were at the lower limit of normal, about 40 mcg / dL of total T4 and about 80 ng / dL of total T3. However, these are quite low levels that can have a negative impact on our metabolism.
Side effects of excessive T3 dosing, usually starting above 100 mcg a day and may cause heart arrhythmia (including atrial fibrillation and extrasystoles) tachycardia, i.e. increased heart rate, palpitations, angina attacks, headache, feeling hot, fever, vomiting, menstrual disorders, pseudo-brain tumor, tremor, restlessness, insomnia, excessive sweating, diarrhea. If we want to relieve these symptoms, the daily dose should be reduced. After the side effects have subsided, you can continue taking it with careful dosing.
