Proviron is a purely androgenic steroid with no pronounced anabolic properties. This drug is used as an anti-estrogen that prevents aromatization into estrogen. Unlike nolvadex (which only prevents estrogen from binding to its receptors), proviron prevents the formation of estrogens by blocking the aromatase enzymes. This results in minimizing water retention (and thus swelling), and reduces the risk of gynecomastia and fat deposition. Proviron’s unique property is its ability to bind the SHBG protein. Thanks to this, the SAAs given with it are in a free / unbound state. This results in a higher activity of androgens and anabolics with a simultaneous lower supply. It is also used when libido decreases during the cycle. Before the competition, it is used to improve the quality of the muscle. It reduces the amount of water retained in the body, which improves the appearance of the muscle.
A side effect of taking Proviron is frequent and sometimes painful erections. It can be used without greater risk during the cycle for up to several months – it is well tolerated by the liver, so using the recommended doses, you can not experience any problems with it. When administered orally, it is completely absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, the maximum concentration in the serum is reached after 3 hours. It is worth spreading the entire dose over the course of the day. Larger side effects can occur with high doses above 100mg per day. You can then expect the typical side effects that occur with androgens, i.e. skin problems, acne, super body hair growth, male pattern baldness.
